Recently decided to try streaming video from iPhone to Chromecast. Wanted to have a movie night at home, but some fuss with the setup started. I thought it would take a couple of minutes, but instead spent an hour trying to figure out why the device doesn't see the phone. It turns out that you need to download a separate app. But once everything worked, it was very convenient - no wires, just turn it on and watch. Does anyone have any tips to avoid such "surprises"?
