How long did it take you to process your PERM application? Personally, it took me about a year. My brother and I are also at this stage now and we personally chose Consular Processing. We saw a video on this topic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTWnUs3ZHb8 . It says that it is better to choose the second option, because it is potentially faster for obtaining permanent residency.
