I am only 18 years old now and I want my mother to apply for an EB-3 visa. I want us to move to the United States, so I am currently looking for various information on this topic. I know that CSPA is the Child Status Protection Act, but I am old enough, will I be able to apply for my mother’s visa, or will I have to apply for my own visa separately?
Generally you qualify as a "child" because you are under 21, you should have already found this information online if you know what CSPA stands for :) But you should hurry up because as you know this visa takes years to get and you may turn 21 and then you will not be able to go through your mother's visa. It is important that you are under 21 at the time of filing the I-140, then you will be considered a "child".
